5 top tips when purchasing your blinds or shutters

E-Mail message from our customer on 14th September 2013

We just wanted to send a brief email to express how impressed we were with you and your team following our recent blinds fitting. The Customer Service we experienced from start to finish was some of the best we have ever come across. Each member of the team could not have been more professional or courteous. We have already recommended you to a number of people and will continue to do so. As well as the service the blinds themselves are fantastic, if we were doing a new build we would be ordering them for every window. Excellent quality and value for money.

Kind regards

Alexis and John Pallister, Penrith, Cumbria

01

world of reviews...

you wouldn't stay in a hotel without checking their reviews and peoples comments on trip advisor, so check out the company on Google and Facebook, people will tell you the truth, if they dont have any reviews, beware, ask yourself why they don't.

02

child safety...

The law regarding blinds "has changed", the company can be held responsible for the type of blinds they install in areas where children are vunerable, reputable companies are aware of current legislation and will not install blinds where children could have accidents. It is a good idea to take their advice on types of blinds.

03

showroom and premises...

If you have a problem with a blind you've purchased, you can always visit the companies premises and talk to someone, if the company operates from home, its unlikely you'll knock on their front door to get something repaired. If they have a showroom you can see exactly what you are going to get when you place your order, if you just choose a fabric in your home, you're not seeing the finished article, so beware.

04

web-site and facebook / twitter page...

if you're reading this, then you may be buying blinds or shutters, check the companies web-page, facebook page or check their tweets, if there's no information other than a homepage and some references to the site being constructed, they're not supplying you with the correct information, so be careful.

05

recommendations...

by far, the best way to know about the company, if your friends had a good experience, well that goes a long way, however it doesn't mean that you shouldn't check them out as well, we get most of our business from recommendations.
